How did Soul Support LLC come to be?
Husband and Wife- two different backgrounds, one professional goal – entrepreneurship. The only question was what shape and form their entrepreneurial goals would take. Prior to meeting each other, Marlin and RJ tried their hand at many different endeavors while searching for their true passion. Marlin, a former high ranking executive for a Fortune 500 company, and government official had been involved in quite a few entrepreneurial endeavors. It wasn’t until she endured some personal challenges and was able to journal her feelings that she was able to find her true passion. The inspirational quotes and affirmations that came from her journaling would play a major part in fostering that true entrepreneurial spirit. Enter RJ, a recent law school graduate who stayed focused by taping daily affirmations and his goals to his bathroom mirror and recited them every day. At the time, neither knew how that their actions during their life experiences would lead to them finding their true entrepreneurial passion – helping others. One Sunday afternoon while the two friends were discussing the power of words, Marlin shared with RJ the inspirational quotes and affirmations she journaled. Drawing on the affirmations RJ had on the bathroom mirror that motivated him to success the two thought it would be cool if others could read these words daily to help them through life’s hopes and challenges. From that moment Soul Support was born and the focus became creating products and offering services that would serve as daily inspiration for people that are striving to make their dreams a reality.
